A Boutique Interior Design Consultancy
1. Initial Consultation | Site Visit | Brief
To ensure a client’s personal style is reflected throughout the design, an initial consultation is set. Site visits and floor plans are then implemented to estimate the timeframe, budget and any structural or administrative requirements. Once this is complete, a proposal is sent to the client outlining the brief and associated design fee.
2. Concept Design | Space Planning
At this stage an overall ‘look and feel’ for the project design is presented. This includes floor plans illustrating furniture layouts and any structural changes, as well as mood boards visualising proposed finishes, ff&E, joinery concepts and decorative lighting. This is a collaborative stage where client feedback is welcomed.
3. Schematic Design | Design Development
Once the concept design has been approved, design development begins and 3D visuals of specific areas are created. A fully dimensioned and co-ordinated schematic design package, including reflected ceiling plans and elevations with final bespoke furniture and joinery, will be also be presented along with final finishes for client approval.
4. Detail Design | Technical Documentation
Once the schematic design is approved, a fully detailed construction drawing package is then brought to life. This includes cross referenced, technical specification documentation which outlines all interior finishes including joinery items, ff&e and lighting.
5. Procurement
Following the design approval, if required, the procurement stage begins. In this phase the team will assist the client in contacting the specified suppliers to arrange any further detailed information, quotations, invoices and deliveries.
6. Onsite Design Supervision | Post Contract
With all onsite requirements met, works will commence and onsite meetings and supervision will be set to ensure designs are carried out as per the specifications. The client is regularly updated to ensure the project is progressing as planned as well as to oversee any snagging.
7. Styling | Finishing Touches
As the final design stage, the team are available to assist with the sourcing of specific artwork and decorative accessories requested by the client. This helps to bring the entire design project to life and ensure the client’s personal style is reflected throughout the space
